It is resistant to oil and various chemical products. The plastic can be thermoformed and welded (PE-300), so it is often used in the manufacture of containers, tanks and reservoirs. PE-500 is often used in the food industry for cutting boards, table tops. PE-1000 has excellent sliding properties and abrasion resistance, is suitable for abrasive environments and is therefore widely used not only in conveyors for transporting non-slip materials, but also in the manufacture of chain-type slideways, conveyor stars and various conveyor guides.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Identification<\/strong><br \/>\nPlastics can come in different colours. PP is completely water-absorbent and can come into direct contact with foodstuffs, making it a suitable material for use in a wide range of food industries. This plastic can be thermoformed and is therefore used in orthopaedics, is lightweight and relatively inexpensive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Identification<\/strong><br \/>\nPP plastics do not sink in water (less dense than water).
